Easter picnic

So every year Andy and I take our girls to a Easter Picnic. We go with my brother and sister-in-law. This year since we were in Utah we had to go again. The girls look forward to this every year and it is a blast. Of course we eat and then the dad's take the kids on a hike while the mom's fill the Easter baskets and then hide them. When they get back the kids go and try to find their basket. This year Alyssa only wanted her uncle, Brian. She dragged him around everywhere she went.

Brian and Alyssa...

Andelynn can't find her basket anywhere.
And she is not happy with me. Since she wasn't feeling well she wanted me to make it easy for her. But what fun would that be?...

Andelynn finally did find her basket, but it did take a long time.
And now she can't reach it.

Alyssa found her basket.

Easter morning

Easter morning at my parents house. You can't tell it in this picture, but Andelynn was so sick. She tried to cover it up with her cute smile.

For spring break and Easter weekend we stayed at my parents house in Utah. Poor Andelynn got so sick. We went to the doctors a couple of times and tried 7 different medications. Nobody could figure out what was making her so dang sick. I felt so bad for her. I have never seen her look that sick. She even asked me if I would just take her to the hospital. She did well covering up how sick she was for this picture.

We all had such a wonderful Easter and I hope you all did too.

Chocolates

I kept busy again this year making chocolates. Easter is my favorite time to make chocolates. It is so fun to make the egg shape chocolates and to write names on them. I know I am crazy. These are my mini eggs, not as fun to make as the bigger eggs are. But I did enjoy it.

Since I was going to be in Utah for Easter I decided to pack up all my stuff and make chocolates at my moms house. I don't think my mom enjoyed that. I don't think she knew the time that goes into it and of course the mess. But we did get to eat our share of chocolates as I made them. Now that Easter is over it is time to work off the pounds that I put on during the Easter break. I can gain a few pounds just by looking at the chocolates.

Living in Bozeman

We finally sold our house in Utah and we moved to Bozeman, MT. We came here for Andy's work. We didn't have to move however we thought that it would be a nice adventure. A friend told me that this is just a new chapter and we write our own book. And that is so true. This is just a new chapter in our life. However she could word it a lot better than I can.

So this is our cute house. We love this house. From the outside it doesn't look like much. And honestly I was not sold on it when we first pulled up to the driveway. However the inside is much better than the outside. We spent several days house hunting and all we saw was nothing but crap. I was ready to give up. However the day we were going to head home we came across this house. I cried going home that day because I knew that we were meant to be here. I just didn't want to admit it. I didn't want to move away from Utah even though I always said that it would be fun to go. When it came down to it I was just plain scared.

Things are going great here. We have now been here 6 months. Time is going by fast. We wanted to rent something here before we bought just to make sure how we were going to like it and see how things were going to go for Andy's work. So far Andy slept in his hotel room more than he has slept in his bed here in Bozeman. That is just a little exaggeration but not much.

We have a nice guest suite down stairs with a king bed for visitors. Down there you have your own bedroom, bathroom and living space with a tv and cable. So we are waiting for you to come and visit us.
